<![CDATA[Dudley Evolve(Dudley Evolve)]]> http://efdss.reachsites.co.uk/front/news/newsId/61 Construction has started at a pace on the new campus for Dudley College that will open in 2012.

We have designed the central location area in a contemporary manner with a civil aesthetic. The aim of the landscape proposals for the Tower Street is to develop a stimulating and vibrant campus that can be enjoyed by staff, students and visitors alike.

The new external environment will reflect the spatial scale of the buildings and provide a coherent structure to the street.

Mature trees will be retained and reinforced with new tree and shrub planting visually softening the building edges. Native and ornamental planting will enrich the biodiversity on site with the aim to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating.

<![CDATA[British Geological Survey . Keyworth(British Geological Survey . Keyworth)]]> http://efdss.reachsites.co.uk/front/news/newsId/58 Works are proceeding at a pace on the new research facilities, offices and restaurant at the survey's headquarters in Keyworth. Central to this re-development of the site is the Geological Walk forming the main route through the complex but most importantly exhibiting all of the important stones present within the geological periods of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

We have worked closely with the survey's geologists and commercial stone suppliers to choose and source paving stone, feature rocks, boulders and monoliths to form and to be placed along the walk. This summer tonnes of stone will arrive on site from across the UK from as far north as the Scottish Islands, to the moors of the South West and the hills of the Lake District to be placed and laid on site. CED Ltd working with Kier are procuring and creating this prestigious new landscape.
