Munro+Whitten were appointed to support an appeal against the decision of the Harborough District Council to refuse planning permission for residential development on the edge of Market Harborough.

We prepared the Landscape Strategy and Proposals that guided the development proposals placing the houses behind new natural landform and planting.

Accurate computer generated models and images illustrated that the landscape concept and proposals will deliver a scheme that will show a wooded skyline and a natural open slope so that the rural setting of Market Harborough is retained.

The planning inspector has subsequently permitted the development.
