Munro+Whitten together with Pick Everard Architects designed a new Sixth Form Centre for the Isle of Wight College.
The aim of the landscape proposals for the new 6th Form at the Isle of Wight College is to develop a stimulating and vibrant school environment that can be enjoyed by staff, students and visitors alike. The site’s biodiversity will be enhanced with the creation of areas that can be used as an external teaching resource.
We are most excited by the opportunity to use plants from the college’s own nursery run by the Horticulture Department.
A contemporary suite of street elements - including benches, seats, litterbins and bollards - is proposed to furnish the spaces, reinforcing the feel and character of the campus.
